Part-Time Nanny Needed in Indian Village for 2 children
Description: A family in the Indian Village neighborhood of Detroit is looking for a caring and reliable part-time nanny for their two children, ages 6 and 4 long term. Care is needed for afternoons and the family is offering a guaranteed 16 hours per week, though most weeks will be more. Nanny needs to have the flexibility to occasionally work morning hours if needed due to parents' work schedule and ideally the ability to work when children are off from school throughout the year. The family has a friendly elderly German Shepherd, but pet care is not part of the nannies responsibilities.
Schedule: September 15th, 2024 start date. Mondays - Thursdays 3pm to 6pm, and Fridays 1:45pm to 5pm.

Requirements:

Comfortable with a dog in the household,

Previous experience as a nanny or in a childcare setting

Strong understanding of child development and positive discipline techniques

Reliable, punctual,energetic, and trustworthy

CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain

Clean driving record and safe vehicle to use for position

Experience working with children with ADHD
Duties: School pick-up, driving to after-school activities, engaging in fun yet educational play and outings, child related errands on occasion and child related light housekeeping and meal prep.
Pay: $23 to $25/hour depending on experience - guaranteed 16 hours per week paid weekly. PTO available as well.

Description: A family in Grosse Pointe is looking for a trustworthy and energetic part-time nanny for their two children, ages 3 years and 15 months, long term. Nanny will be responsible for preschool pickup, facilitating fun activities for the children after and during the school day, and naptime for both children. Mondays are set, but for the right candidate family can be flexible on swapping Thursday for Wednesdays.
Schedule: Monday 9am - 4pm & Thursday 9am - 4pm
